Today the treatment plant tank arrived. On two pallets with no lifting device to remove it from the lorry.
at about 2 metres high x 1.75metres wide. Plus one delivery driver!!!!
Luckilly Mike (M&B contractors) had just arrived back to a site they were working on today and had a few superstars free plus a trailer and planks. They arrived about 5 minutes later and managed to get the tank into the back garden via 3 planks of wood, a trailer and alot of 'to me' 'to you's'.

3rd June 2011 The shuttering is removed to reveal the completed slab.
Max is first to walk on the new slab of freshly set concrete. Here the shuttering is being removed and put onto the trailer beyond the slab. The pipes protruding from the slab are the drainage pipes and inlet pipe for the water and waste.
Max demonstrating where the front door will be, no necessity for that at the moment.
The visqueen that lay under the slab and was wrapped over the lower level of the slab. Now the 2nd shuttering section has been removered, the visqueen is now folded over to where the face brick layer will be laid.
Here's Piers checking out the messy bits around the raft.
View looking from the far side of the slab towards the garage.
Next picture is taken looking towards the front of the plot.

31st May 2011. The 2nd stage concrete pour
The pour went very well as you can see by the pictures.
It took all day but as you can see the weather wasn't great but atleast the rain stopped the cement from going off too fast. Mike was the last to leave the site at gone 5.30pm
